Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Help with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; manage trash and garbage.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering with accuracy, maintain receipts, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving lines, ensure food temperatures are within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if not.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for sale daily.
• Stock and rotate refrigerator products using FIFO.
• Maintain pantry stock levels and record refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
