Job Opening: Cashier / Food Service Worker

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER / FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions located at West Milwaukee School District West Allis - 9333 West Lincoln Avenue, West Allis, WI 53227. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous customer service experience is preferred. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $12.00 to $14.00 per hour.

About the Role

The role involves operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, and help with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system, ensuring cash accuracy and handling deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness by performing general cleaning duties and managing trash.
• Provide customer service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and serve hot and cold items.
• Ensure refrigerator stock is rotated and maintained, and record temperatures and replenishments daily.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
