• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle - 2520 5th Street, Columbus, MS 39701. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; open availability required for full-time. Hours and days may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous cash handling/food service experience preferred. Willing to train!

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing foods and catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Maintain cleanliness and remove trash.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handle cash transactions accurately and make deposits.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food.
7. Set up serving lines and monitor food temperatures.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for purchase daily.
10. Stock and rotate refrigerator and pantry items.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
