We are hiring immediately for a full-time Cashier/Food Service Worker position at Bayer Morristown, located at 36 Columbia Road, Morristown, NJ 07960. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; help prepare catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Perform general cleaning; remove trash and garbage.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering with accuracy, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable ranges.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily and ensure refrigerator stock is rotated using FIFO.
• Stock pantries to appropriate levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
