+ We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE position.

+ Location: TJX 550 - 550 Cochituate Road, Framingham, MA 01701. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; help with catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Perform cleaning duties; remove trash to designated areas.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
7. Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if outside acceptable ranges.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for purchase daily.
10. Maintain refrigerator stock and rotate products using FIFO.
11. Stock pantries to par levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures daily.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
