Canteen North America is hiring for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER at our Norfolk location. The role involves operating the POS system, assisting the Chef, and handling coffee service, with duties across cashiering, prep, and station cleanliness.

The position requires prior POS/cash handling experience and a Food Handler's certificate is preferred. Schedule includes early hours, with benefits typical for full-time roles, including paid time off and health coverage where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating POS systems or cash registers.
• Basic food safety knowledge and hygienic work practices.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates Point of Sale system and assists with cashier duties.
• Prepares coffee and supports the culinary team as needed.
• Keeps cashier and coffee stations clean and organized.
• Provides service across all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Performs cash handling, receipts, and shift-end deposits as required.
• Stocks supplies, checks temperatures, and maintains inventory levels.
• Supports daily setup of serving lines and food presentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
