The Role

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier to join our Food Best Odds team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and leaves satisfied.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
2. Use all related equipment properly, including cash registers, Micros, and credit card machines.
3. Ensure all food and beverage products are rotated and served quickly and neatly.
4. Clean the floor, counter, and machines in the Tradewinds area.
5. Keep an accurate count of all money and comps received from customers.
6. Monitor supply levels and notify the Restaurant Supervisor or Shift Manager when low.
7. Stock food and beverage items for Tradewinds concessions.
8. Understand and adhere to all cash handling procedures and policies.
9. Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
10. Keep work area clean and organized.
11. Ensure safety and security of all customers and team members.
12. Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's Kansas City and department management.
13. Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in food service or cashiering.
• Must obtain and maintain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license and TiPS certification.
• Proper use of related equipment, including electronic cash register, Micros system, telephone, two-way radio, etc.
• Ability to work any shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Effective communication with customers, departments, and team members.
• Adherence to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and other applicable laws.
• Ability to perform duties accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
