Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring cashiers for a fast-paced environment, delivering friendly, accurate service to customers. Training is provided, even without prior experience.

You will balance transactions, uphold food safety, keep your area clean, and may cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, or Maintenance. Flexible scheduling and career development are offered, along with time off benefits and insurance after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills for assisting customers and upselling opportunities.
• Teamwork and flexible scheduling to support store operations.
• No experience? Training is provided and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
