Job summary

Middlebury Snowbowl is seeking a part-time cashier for its high-volume dining venue. You will greet customers, process sales quickly with a POS system, and keep the dining area clean and organized.

DLC certification is required upon hire. Prior cashier training is helpful but not required. This on-site role offers hourly pay between $20.00 and $22.99 and opportunities to join a vibrant Middlebury College community.

Qualifications

• Part-time cashier role; experience with POS is beneficial.
• Prior cashier training or experience is helpful but not required.
• DLC certification is required upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them as needed.
• Process sales quickly and courteously using a POS machine.
• Stock shelves and beverage coolers, and operate hot cocoa machines.
• Refill condiment pumps during shift.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area during shift.
• Clean work area at end of shift.
• Must be able to lift 10–15 lbs many times per shift; push/pull up to 25 lbs; overhead reaching and bending frequently.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to travel to the Snowbowl.
