You will answer questions, help customers find the best value, and handle payments and exchanges in a fast-paced retail environment. Most time is at the register, with occasional support in other departments. This role suits those who enjoy helping customers and solving problems.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills are required.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying data).
• Minimally lift 10 lbs; up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure/registration if required by law in your state.
• Experience in retail and/or customer service is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions and provide service.
