Meijer is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver efficient, friendly service at the checkout lane, creating positive experiences for Meijer customers.

You’ll complete transactions, handle money responsibly, use technology to process purchases, and maintain accuracy while engaging customers with eye contact and a helpful attitude. Training is provided.

No prior experience required; we offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, education assistance, and development programs to help you grow.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
• Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
• Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
• Desire to work with customers.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Friendly outgoing attitude.
• Ability to operate cashier register system.
