Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a friendly cashier to help customers at the register, answer questions, and ensure a quick, accurate checkout experience that leaves shoppers satisfied. You’ll engage with store teams to keep lines moving smoothly and support customers through every step of their shopping trip.

As a Lowe’s associate, you’ll handle payments and exchanges, scan and bag items, keep a clean workstation, and collaborate with teammates to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
