Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers get great value. You’ll assist at the register, support self-checkout, and help maintain a clean and efficient store environment.

Responsibilities include handling payments, answering questions, and supporting other departments as needed. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth and learning new trade skills.

Qualifications

• Requires basic reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Experience using a computer and basic digital tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform sedentary tasks as needed.
• Lifts up to 75 pounds with team lifting when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Assist customers in self-checkout when needed.
• Scan, bag items accurately, handle payments and exchanges.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions.
• Answer customer questions and provide help at the point of sale.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and assist other duties as assigned.
