Lowe’s in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers get the best value for their money. You’ll greet customers, scan items, bag purchases, and answer questions at the register.

In this role you may assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. Lowe’s offers health insurance options, a 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, and an associate discount, with flexible schedules to support your career goals.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic required.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• Lifting up to 75 pounds with team lifts when needed.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by state.

• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area

• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
