Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time cashier at Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA. Shifts are 1:00 PM to 2:00 AM with nights required. Prior cashier and stocking experience is required. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier and stocking experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are recorded accurately.
• Make change, accept various forms of payment, and issue receipts.
• Follow procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain cash drawer in accordance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies; keep service areas clean.
• Keep pastry case stocked and ensure sanitation standards.
