Job summary

Park Ridge Park District is seeking a part-time cashier for the Driving Range season. You will handle all transactions, distribute balls, assist guests, and provide face-to-face service while answering questions about hours and pro shop services.

Responsibilities include producing end-of-shift cash reports, counting currency, maintaining tee boxes, light cleaning, and assisting with golf lesson scheduling and event support. This is a September–November seasonal role with various hours.

Qualifications

• Outstanding cash handling skills required.
• Ability to learn POS (point of sale) system.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic written and verbal English required.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Handle all cash register transactions accurately.
• Distribute driving range balls to patrons.
• Answer telephone calls and greet customers face-to-face.
• Provide information on hours, services and pro shop offerings.
• Produce cash reports at end of shifts and verify currency.
• Maintain/organize tee boxes and assist with light cleaning.
• Assist with scheduling golf lessons and support programs/events.
