Poolside Cashiers are responsible for processing forms of payment for goods and services to include room charges, credit card and cash. Cashiers are the final point of contact for the experience and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. This role supports the poolside team by maintaining a clean, organized workstation and ensuring all guest needs are met in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet all guests promptly and courteously, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments, including cash, credit card, and room charges.
  • Issue receipts and maintain an accurate cash drawer, adhering to hotel cash-handling policies.
  • Assist with taking and packaging food and beverage orders when needed.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and service area.
  • Answer guest questions about the menu, hotel amenities, and poolside services.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards as well as safety protocols for outdoor environments.
  • Monitor guest consumption and comply with alcohol service laws and hotel policies.
  • Report any guest concerns or operational issues to the supervisor promptly.
