Job summary

IKEA Charlotte is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to support the shopping experience, process transactions, and help with returns. The role requires weekend availability and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You will be part of a team dedicated to creating a welcoming environment and delivering excellent service. As a successful candidate, you may be asked to complete a background check.

• Provides customers a simple and efficient handout experience when scheduled in Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO) and suggests additional services when appropriate.
• Facilitates returns and exchanges smoothly while collecting high-quality data for follow-up.

What you'll be doing day to day

• Creates a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate transactions and/or orders. Records information accurately so the resulting analysis can be used to make improvements to customers' future shopping experience.
• Meets customers' needs, solves problems independently, and recognizes when to escape to a manager.
• Builds loyalty by ensuring a positive customer journey during the IKEA shopping experience.
• Builds emotional connections through meaningful and empathetic interactions with customers.
• Provides customers with a simple and efficient handout experience when scheduled in Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO). Offers and sells services to customers during the handover process when needed.
• Provides the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience, while collecting high quality data for follow-up when scheduled in returns.

Permanent, Part Time

12 - 19.5 hours per week. Weekend open availability required.

$17.58 - $24.82 / hr depending on equivalent or greater experience.
