AC&T in Waynesboro, PA is hiring a Cashier to serve customers promptly and cheerfully while upholding store standards. You will handle transactions, assist with product placement, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role requires basic math, good English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend and extended hours may be required as business needs dictate. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or have a work permit.
• Able to speak, read, understand and write English.
• Able to perform basic math for making change and reporting totals.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stock shelves.
• Able to use electronic cash registers and related equipment.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper customer relations and service.
• Maintains contact with the Store Manager.
• Adheres to all store procedures and policies; including security, reporting procedures, check cashing, etc.
• Maintain inventory control.
• Maintain all monies and the safekeeping of equipment, store records, and other AC&T property assigned to him/her.
• Follow state and federal laws concerning the sale of alcohol, tobacco, lottery tickets, and food service.
