Happier Grocery is hiring a Cashier in New York to deliver a friendly checkout experience and support a clean, welcoming store environment. You will handle cash and digital payments, assist customers with product questions, and help with stocking and merchandising across high-traffic areas.

The role requires communication, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs. The position supports multiple store areas, including Beverage Bar cashiering and e-commerce

Responsabilités

• Deliver a friendly and efficient checkout experience, accurately processing cash, credit, and contactless payments while following all transaction, return, and exchange procedures.
• Welcome customers, answer product and store questions, answer incoming calls, and provide helpful, professional service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area, including registers, scales, shopping baskets, bags, and impulse items.
• Support merchandising and replenishment throughout high-traffic areas, including facing and stocking beverage coolers, checking shelf tags, replenishing endcaps, and ensuring proper product rotation.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of customer areas, including cleaning shared surfaces and keeping seating and displays organized.
• Support other departments as business needs require, including Beverage Bar cashiering, Happier beverage stocking, and E-Commerce order fulfillment.
• Communicate inventory, merchandising, or customer concerns to store leadership and collaborate with the broader store team to resolve issues.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and health protocols and contribute to overall store cleanliness and upkeep.
• Remain flexible and willing to assist with additional store responsibilities during high-volume periods, callouts, or changing business needs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs as needed.
