Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; required for the role.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet daily sales targets.
• Familiarity with basic office software and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
• Manage cash drawer, including counting and reconciling cash at the end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting with product inquiries and resolving issues.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking shelves and displays.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and elevate issues when necessary.
• Participate in inventory management tasks, including stocking and auditing.
