Job summary

Meijer is seeking friendly cashiers to provide efficient, high-quality service at the checkout. You will be the final touchpoint for customers, ensuring smooth transactions and a welcoming, positive experience.

Responsibilities include learning Meijer programs, using POS systems, handling cash accurately, and resolving customer questions with care on a fast-paced team. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Enjoy working with people and delivering great service.
• Able to learn and use technology; able to stand for extended periods.
• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to lift, bend, twist and be on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers.
• Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression.
• Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail.

• Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care.
