Job summary

Duchess is seeking friendly, reliable team members for a Cashier role at 1625 Tuttle. You’ll greet customers, process transactions with POS, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean store while following safety rules for tobacco, alcohol and other items.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers.
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
