Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a friendly cashier to ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience. You’ll handle checkout, assist at self-checkout, and help customers find the best value while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include processing payments, answering questions, stocking assistance, and collaborating with team members in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned
