Job summary

Lowe's in Hickory, NC, is seeking a friendly cashier to provide fast, accurate checkout experiences and help customers find the best value. You will handle payments, assist with self-checkout, and answer questions to ensure every customer leaves satisfied.

You'll spend most time at the register, with opportunities to assist other departments, stock shelves, and maintain a clean workstation. Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus, and a flexible part-time schedule helps you grow

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer to input/access information.
• Minimum lift 10lbs; up to 15lbs with/without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
