Job summary

Lowe’s in Forest City, North Carolina is seeking a part-time cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and accurate payments at the register. You’ll help customers with questions, process payments and exchanges, and assist with store needs to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

Most duties fall at the register, but you may also help in other areas as needed. This role offers flexible schedules, employee discounts, and opportunities to grow with Lowe’s Track to the Trades program.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
