Pay Range

Base pay range

$12.00/hr - $12.00/hr

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers promptly and courteously via phone or in person, offering assistance.
2. Operate the POS system for accurate sales data, pricing, and merchandise information.
3. Handle cash transactions properly, including coupons and discounts.
4. Promote the “Change Round-up” program by asking customers to round up their change to support the community mission.
5. Maintain cleanliness of the store front, counters, glass, and return shopping carts and baskets.
6. Assist with store promotions, including customer information and signage.
7. Keep the counter, showcases, and cash wrap area neat and stocked.
8. Follow safety procedures and report hazards or injuries.
9. Assist in training new cashiers.
10. Maintain dressing rooms and re-hang clothes as needed.
11. Organize and rotate merchandise on the sales floor.
12. Follow all policies and procedures related to theft, cash handling, and safety.
13. Perform other duties as assigned and participate in training and activities outside of regular duties as needed.
