Job summary

Star Nursery Nevada is seeking a friendly cashier to greet customers, operate the point-of-sale system, and ensure a smooth checkout experience in our Las Vegas store.

You will maintain the front-end area, stock shelves, and assist with pricing accuracy while providing helpful service and a positive shopping environment for guests.

Qualifications

A Cashier is an important member of our Star Nursery team. Often the first person a customer sees when entering our stores, our Cashiers ensure that final step of the Star Nursery shopping experience is efficient and pleasant. Our Cashiers accurately record the sale of merchandise for our customers while maintaining a great attitude and professional completion of the sale.

• Ring up customers
• Keep front end clean and stocked
• Answer telephones
• Straighten and dust merchandise
• Check for consistent pricing
• Sweep floors as needed
• Order/Make signs when necessary
• Pick up trash
• Face and restock shelves and end caps
• Other Duties as Assigned

• Frequently bending, twisting and rotating trunk, arms and legs
