My Hurlburt at Gator Lakes Golf Course Oasis Cafe seeks a courteous cashier/clerical associate for a flexible, non-appropriated fund role. Hours range from 0 to 40 per week; you will be working on-site at the cafe and helping with cash handling and customer service in a golf course setting.

After one year, eligible for benefits including 12 weeks paid parental leave and tuition assistance. Growth and other benefit opportunities are also available.

Qualifications

• Experience in clerical or office work with ability to perform arithmetic and making change.
• Experience with receipt, disbursement and processing of cash items including cash accountability controls.
• Knowledge of golf rules/etiquette desirable but not required.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.
• Must deal effectively with the public.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must satisfactorily complete Tier 1 background investigation.

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Gator Lakes Golf Course Oasis Cafe and is not guaranteed a set number of hours but can be scheduled 0 - 40 hours per week. As a federal employee you will have access to all Hurlburt Field FSS facilities.

After 1 year of employment, you will be eligible for the following benefits:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience

• Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers.
• Must also have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods.
• Knowledge of rules and etiquette of golf is desirable but not required.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation with favorable results.
