Job summary

Bally’s in Iowa is hiring a Cage Cashier to accurately handle monetary transactions and provide outstanding guest service. You will balance your cashier bank at the end of each shift and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly while adhering to gaming regulations.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma, strong team orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role requires availability nights, weekends, and holidays and interaction with guests and team

The Role:

The Cage Cashier is responsible for accurately and promptly handling money transfers for guests and providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
• Accountable for an assigned cashier bank during their shift and must balance at the end of their shift.
• Execute monetary transactions for guests.
• Accurately complete necessary paperwork associated with the position.
• Comply with all IRGC rules and regulations, as well as federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Assist guests with player’s club accounts.
• Must be friendly and courteous at all times
• Must be able to apply customer service standards as directed
• Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work requested by the Shift Manager
• Other duties as assigned
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
• Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and written in English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission License

A casino environment exposed to bright flashing lights, noise, smoke and varied temperatures. Use of elevator and stairs. May include a boat and/or floating barge. May also work in a banquet/showroom environment with varied noise levels and temperatures, wet areas, and exposure to low-level lights.

Target Compensation Range:

• $ 14.50 per hour; based on experience
