Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cashier to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions while providing excellent and empathetic customer service to patients, their families, and hospital staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Successful completion of general and department-specific orientation
• Some cashier or customer service experience
• Basic math and money-handling skills

Preferred:

• Experience in hospitality, hospital, or healthcare settings
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities
• Proficiency in using Micros

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift work, including weekends and holidays
• Full-time position

Essential Functions:

• Accurately process cash and credit payments
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
• Maintain a clean checkout area
• Handle inquiries professionally and courteously
• Assist in other areas based on staffing and patient flow
• Help maintain cleanliness of the dining area and refill condiment stations, beverages, chips, and snacks throughout the dining room
