Job Description - Cashier/Barista, Dockside FT - Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina (HOT0BM7Y)

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Barista to join our team at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. This role involves preparing and serving beverages and food, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.

The hotel is a newly renovated property, completed in 2023, featuring 595 guestrooms, 3 F&B outlets, and over 37,000 sq ft of meeting space, including the Brand-New Intracoastal Ballroom overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Located just 3 miles from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a cafe or coffee shop setting.
• Full open availability preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work efficiently during high-volume periods.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday, with shifts starting as early as 5:00AM to 2:00PM and 2:00PM - 10:00PM.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

• Greet, prepare, and serve beverages and food in a courteous and timely manner.
• Prepare beverages such as espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks.
• Operate coffee equipment with care and precision.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer menu questions, and create a welcoming environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and customer spaces.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
