Miskiri Hospitality Group is seeking friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Cashiers to join our restaurant teams.

We're looking for team members who enjoy connecting with guests, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering accurate, friendly, and professional service.

As a Cashier, you'll be responsible for welcoming guests, taking and processing orders, handling payments, and ensuring every guest has a positive experience. You'll play an important role in maintaining smooth restaurant operations while supporting your fellow team members.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system
• Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, pricing, and available options
• Make menu recommendations and suggest additional items when appropriate
• Process cash, credit card, gift card, and electronic payments accurately
• Maintain accountability for assigned cash drawers and follow established cash-handling procedures
• Verify order accuracy, including special requests and modifications, before completing transactions
• Coordinate with kitchen and service team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Package and organize takeout and delivery orders according to established standards
• Communicate estimated wait times and provide guests with order updates as needed
• Respond professionally to guest questions, concerns, and service issues, escalating matters to management when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready cashier station and surrounding service areas
• Restock packaging materials, utensils, condiments, beverages, and other supplies as needed
• Follow established opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work procedures
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards
• Support other front-of-house responsibilities as operational needs require
• Work collaboratively with restaurant leadership, culinary team members, and fellow employees to deliver an exceptional guest experience

What You Bring

• Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred
• A genuine passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest service
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to accurately handle cash, process payments, and complete transactions
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn and operate restaurant POS systems
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to remain professional, positive, and composed during high-volume service periods
• Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn menu offerings, restaurant procedures, and service standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical responsibilities of restaurant service
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
