Your number one priority as a Part-Time Cashier will be to assist our customers during the checkout process and deliver on our high brand and execution standards with your team members. At Northern Tool + Equipment, we serve tradespeople and weekend warriors, ensuring they have the right tools and a hassle-free shopping experience. Your positive and professional attitude contributes to our culture and leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting all customers as they enter the store and ensuring they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
• Completing all transactions quickly and accurately.
• Offering our Protection Plan on all eligible products and our credit card on all transactions (Incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards).
• Helping team members by putting away product, executing price changes, or other tasks to better serve customers.

What you will bring to the table:

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Service-focused mindset.
