JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this position is to positively represent the Buffalo Wild Wings Brand as the first point of contact for Guests. This role manages all takeout orders, accurately enters orders into the Point of Sale System, and collects payments.

Cashier/Greeter: Make a great first impression with each Guest. Greet hungry sports fans like they are part of our team. Be energetic, friendly, and genuinely interested in what brings Guests through our doors. This position involves multitasking: from finding the right spot for a Little League team celebrating a win to managing takeout orders and assisting Guests with payments. Always be ready to help throughout the Guest's visit and invite them back to join our team again.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a part-time position, averaging 29 hours or less per week. After a 12-month review, if you average 30 or more hours per week, you will be eligible for company medical benefits. Full-time expectations are 36 to 40 hours per week.

• Provide a friendly welcome to incoming Guests and ensure timely seating.
• Participate in the Company’s Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow company standards, including checking ID for anyone who looks under 40 to verify age for alcohol consumption.
• Follow proper phone etiquette and answer calls according to Buffalo Wild Wings standards.
• Bus tables, deliver food, follow FIFO guidelines, and complete daily tasks.
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns and involve a manager when necessary.
• Engage with guests to create a personalized experience.
• Handle payments, manage cash drawer, and process credit card transactions.
• Use menu knowledge to make suggestions and upsell.
• Enter takeout orders accurately into the POS system.
• Bag and manage takeout orders, checking for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, practicing safety and sanitation standards.
• Thank guests as they leave, solicit feedback, and encourage future visits.
• Assist with prep and portioning tasks.
• Help with expo window and run food as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
