Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Customer service experience
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Responsibilities include:

• Being visible, greeting, engaging, and assisting customers as a Cashier/Checker.
• Processing customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understanding the POS system and handling various tenders and offers according to company policy.
• Adhering to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Following guidelines on restricted sale items and reporting discrepancies.
• Staying current with ads and promotions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and safety programs.
• Reporting unsafe conditions and maintaining equipment.
• Creating a welcoming environment and answering customer questions.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
