Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Responsibilities:

• Be visible, greet, engage, and assist customers as a Cashier/Checker.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and coupons according to company policy.
• Adhere to company limits on cash shortages/overages and control loss effectively.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items and report discrepancies.
• Comply with policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay updated with current and upcoming promotional ads.
• Follow all food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Practice preventive maintenance and notify management of equipment issues.
• Create a welcoming environment, answering questions about products and store policies.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
