Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service and accurately process transactions in-store. The role requires flexibility with shifts and a willingness to learn other areas as needed.

You will greet customers, operate the register, and ensure a clean, organized checkout area while representing Big Y’s culture of caring. Applicants should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and be at least 16 years old.

The Cashier is responsible for providing customers with an exceptional and rewarding shopping experience. The cashier is responsible for accurately processing customer transactions. They also maintain cleanliness and handle customer inquiries.

• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.
