Job summary

Trevor's Liquor in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our team. You will assist customers in selecting products, answer questions about spirits, wine or cigars, and ensure the store stays organized and welcoming.

As a Cashier you will handle transactions, balance the cash drawer, maintain shelving and inventory, and help with stocking. You will build relationships with customers and contribute to a positive shopping experience in a fast-growing local retailer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Friendly, courteous attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires.
• 1 year retail sales associate, cashier/cash handling, merchandiser, or inventory specialist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting each customer that comes in store.
• Establish a relationship with customers while informing them of our products, services and pricing.
• Resolve customer issues and answers questions.
• Assist customers out on the floor as needed.
• Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.
• Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
• Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining inventory levels; communicate any inventory issues/concerns to leadership.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards on the sales floor, stock room, bathroom, etc.
