Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will be the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing information and assistance to customers. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining a clean checkout area. Knowledge of weekly ad items, product locations, and store events is essential. You will communicate effectively with the front end manager and Head Cashier and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess an outgoing and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment, including registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Proficient in cash handling, math, reading, writing, and counting.
