About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier to be the face of our store. You'll greet customers, ring up fuel and in-store purchases, keep the store clean and stocked, and help make sure every person who walks in has a good experience.

If you like staying busy, working with people, and taking pride in a well-run store, we'd like to hear from you. No prior experience required -- we'll train you.

What You'll Do

• Greet every customer promptly and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Monitor pump island activity and assist customers at the pumps, including helping elderly and disabled customers with fueling
• Answer customer questions and resolve issues, escalating to a manager when needed
• Stock shelves and coolers, build displays, and merchandise products
• Keep the store clean: shelves, food service area, floors, coolers, restrooms, backroom, equipment, and the outside lot
• Complete shift checkouts, cash and credit reconciliation, meter and register readings, and tank stickings
• Prepare shift reports and logs (attendance, incidents, damage, food safety tracking)
• Check in vendor deliveries
• Report drive-offs, stolen cards, and customer complaints
• Follow all food safety, hand washing, and glove procedures
• Other duties as assigned by your manager or supervisor

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication skills and a positive, courteous attitude toward customers, coworkers, and management
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions accurately
• Ability to follow both spoken and written instructions, including cleaning lists, schedules, shift sheets, and food handling procedures
• Ability to read and verify numbers, labels, temperatures, and equipment readouts
• Reliability and punctuality

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this role include:

• Standing for the majority of the shift and walking regularly between the register, sales floor, and pump islands
• Lifting and carrying 15-45 lbs when stocking coolers, setting up displays, and putting away deliveries
• Working outdoors in varying weather to pump gas, empty trash and grease, and clean the lot
