Job Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, and coupons, following company policies.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items like alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs.
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions and reporting them.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions and providing assistance.
• Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support and assist vulnerable populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
