Responsibilities include:

  • Processing customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at check lanes.
  • Handling various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures according to company policy.
  • Adhering to cash handling limits and controlling loss.
  • Following guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
  • Reporting pricing discrepancies.
  • Following policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
  • Staying current with ads and promotions.
  • Adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Ensuring safety procedures are followed and unsafe conditions are reported.
  • Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Complying with all relevant laws and company policies.

  • Ability to work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments.
