Job summary

Campero USA Corp. is seeking a Front of House Team Member, Cashier, to greet guests, guide them through the menu, and help complete orders to meet customer expectations.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, basic cash-handling, and the ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Flexible availability including nights and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• 1+ year of experience in similar roles (preferred).
• Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
• Standing for long periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow company Personal Care and Hygiene policies.
• Authorized U.S. work documents required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them through the menu to build orders.
• Know all menu items to suggest meals and answer questions.
• Verify orders for accuracy and handle to-go orders and cash transactions.
• Operate the register, count money, and give correct change.
• Count the register before/after shifts with management.
• Assist with front-line food preparation like packaging and taking orders to tables.
• Ensure fast, friendly service and high-quality products.

Overview

The Front of House Team Member, Cashier’s responsibility is to provide an unforgettable experience for our customers thru guiding them around the menu and supporting them in completing an order that fits their needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming new and repeat guests every visit
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
• Verify each guest order for accuracy, manage “to-go” orders, process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
• Operate cash register and must be able to count money and give change correctly
• Count register before and after each shift with management to ensure no shortage or overage
• Assist with front line food preparation procedures such as packaging and take orders to tables
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service and quality products
• Must be able to work with others and communicate effectively in a busy restaurant environment
• Follows and abides all safety rules, policies, and procedures
