Cashiers process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the check lane.

Checkers understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures according to company policy.

Checkers adhere to company limits on cash shortages/overages, work honestly to control loss, and follow guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).

Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.

Stay current with advertisements and adhere to all food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.

Create a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with product questions and ensuring compliance with all laws and guidelines.

Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments, managing conflicts effectively and acting with honesty and integrity.

Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults, and perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
