AJ's Fine Foods in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our front-end team. You will operate a register, bag groceries, restock shelves, and help create a memorable shopping experience for customers.

This role requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and assist customers with information and payment processing. Must be 18+ (21+ for alcohol).

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a cash register and handle cash, credit/debit payments accurately.
• Provide helpful information and resolve customer questions or complaints.
• Assist with stocking shelves, facing products, and cleaning as needed.

Position Purpose:

Our Cashiers will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the front end of the store, including bagging groceries, collecting carts and cleaning, and will provide a memorable experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities:

A Cashier is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

A Cashier's responsibilities include:

• Operating a register and accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
• Assisting all customers by providing information and resolving any complaints
• Assisting with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning and dusting as needed
• Maintaining Safety and Sanitation standards throughout the store
• All other related duties as assigned

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
