Job summary

Bredemann Toyota in Park Ridge, IL, seeks a friendly cashier to work in the busy service department. The position is part-time or full-time and paid hourly; payroll is processed weekly with direct deposit.

Responsibilities include calculating the customer’s bill, accepting cash, checks and cards, issuing receipts, answering phones, and directing customers. We offer full medical insurance, 401k with company match, paid holidays and vacation, a 5-day work week for full-timers, and an employee

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments and record on the repair order.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Answer phones and direct customers to proper department.
• Handle complaints diplomatically and refer to the right person for resolution.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide consistent service to customers.
• Filing service repair orders and related documents.

We are looking for a friendly customer-oriented cashier to work in our busy Toyota service department.Position is part-time or full-time and paid hourly. Payroll is processed weekly and we offer direct deposit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide the same excellent service to customers that you would expect
• Filing (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, Car Deal Files, Hard Copies)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous dealership experience is a plus
• Previous cashier experience is a plus
• MUST have excellent customer service skills
• MUST have excellent communication skills
• Friendly demeanor/attitude and must like working with customers
• Professional personal appearance
