Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Cashier in Oxford, Alabama. The Cashier will conduct transactions using cash registers and serve customers with excellent service.

Job description

The Cashier will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct transactions with customers.

• Greets customers as they enter the location.
• Accepts money in the form of cash, checks, credit or debit cards, EBT cards and eWIC for items purchased.
• Assist customers with questions, find products, and bag purchases.
• Ensures accurate transactions by balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shift.
• Offer all customers the "push item" for the week.
• Greet customers when checking out and thank them at the end of each transaction.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
