Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and help them locate products. You will operate cash registers and scanners, balance the till, and ensure accurate totals.

Applicants should have excellent customer service, good verbal communication, and basic math for making change. On-the-job training will be provided; ability to stand long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers as they enter the location.
• Accepts money in the form of cash, checks, credit or debit cards, EBT cards and eWIC for items purchased.
• Assist customers with questions, find products, and bag purchases.
• Ensures accurate transactions by balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shift.
• Offer all customers the “push item” for the week.
• Greet customers when checking out and thank them at the end of each transaction.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
