JOB PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this position is to positively represent the Buffalo Wild Wings Brand as a first point of contact for Guests. This role is responsible for managing takeout orders, accurately entering orders into the Point of Sale System, and collecting payments.

Cashier/Greeter: Make a great first impression with each Guest. Greet hungry sports fans as if they are part of our team. You need to be energetic, friendly, and genuinely interested in what brings Guests through our doors. This position involves multi-tasking: finding the right spot for a Little League team celebrating their win, managing takeout orders, and helping Guests pay. You will be "on deck" to assist as needed and should invite guests to return.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a part-time position, averaging 29 hours or less per week. After a 12-month period, if you average 30 or more hours weekly, you will be eligible for company medical benefits. The expectation for a full-time position is 36 to 40 hours per week.

• Provide a friendly welcome to Guests and ensure timely seating.
• Participate in Company’s Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow BARS standards: "Must ID anyone who looks under 40 years of age". Check IDs to ensure Guests meet age requirements for alcohol.
• Follow proper phone etiquette and answer calls according to Buffalo Wild Wings standards.
• Bus tables, deliver food, follow FIFO guidelines, and complete daily tasks.
• Address customer complaints and involve a manager when necessary.
• Engage with Guests to provide a personalized experience.
• Handle payments, manage cash drawer, and process credit card transactions.
• Use menu knowledge to make suggestions and upsell.
• Enter takeout orders accurately into the POS system.
• Bag and manage takeout orders, checking for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe cashier area, following sanitation standards.
• Thank guests upon departure, solicit feedback, and invite them to return.
• Assist with prep, portioning, expo, and food running as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
